Howard Leight

Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is a major concern of safety managers, affecting approximately 22 million U.S. workers and costing $242 million annually in workers’ compensation, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Free hearing conservation seminars to help prevent noise-induced hearing loss in the workplace are scheduled for June around the U.S. and Canada — hosted by hearing conservation experts from Honeywell.

A free HearForever® by Howard Leight seminar to help safety professionals improve their hearing conservation programs and prevent noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) in the workplace will be presented in Grand Prairie, Alberta, on 26 April, 2013.

We would like to welcome Dr. Robert M. Ghent to the Howard Leight / HearForever family as our new Acoustical Test Laboratory Manager at our San Diego, CA, facility. Prior to joining us, Bob provided consulting services in auditory research and clinical audiology, and taught audiology coursework at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
